The inaugural 36 holes Scratch Foursomes sponsored by New Boliden Mines took place on Monday 2nd June at Royal Tara. The course was in excellent condition and highly praised by all competitors. The second annual Praxis Care / Abbey Real Estate Golf Classic at the Hilton Templepatrick raised an amzing £6,332 for the work of the charity Praxis Care.     Paula Grant (Lisburn) beat Lisa Maguire (Slieve Russell) on the 19th in a dramatic finish at Ballybunion. In gale force winds the pair battled for the crown.
