The fairways and greens are bordered by several lakes and water comes into play on eleven of the holes. The course features a series of eight par 4s, five par 3s and five par 5s in a demanding layout.
At the centre of the resort is ‘O Miradouro’ Village’. The ‘Veranda’ Clubhouse houses a swimming pool, spa, gymnasium and tennis court. Veranda is the perfect place to socialise, relax and enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean sunshine.

Dining at Monte Rei is everything one would expect from a five star resort. The breakfasts served at the clubhouse are unbelievable an experience not to be missed! Freshly squeezed juice, fruit, muesli, yogurt, smoked salmon or beautiful ham, followed by a freshly cooked plate of eggs and bacon and wonderful fresh coffee. If you choose to have the full works then you do need to allow at least an hour!
Monte Rei’s leading chef Jaime Perez (protégé of the 3 Michelin starred ‘El Bulli’s renowned and often acclaimed “most influential chef in the world” – Ferrán Adrià) brought his culinary talents to the resort soon after the Golf Clubhouse opened and continues to work to his creed that “only the best is good enough”, emphasizing the use of the freshest local ingredients, focussed on Mediterranean cuisine.
