The success of the event has made for a historic moment for Galgorm. The ISPS HANDA World Invitational presented by Modest! Golf is one of the most innovative events in world golf. Two separate tournaments (Men & Women), competed on the same courses at the same time and for the same level of prize money in this first of its kind event in the northern hemisphere.

The US $3 million prize fund was split evenly across Daniel Gavins and Pajaree Anannarukarn. The tournament venues showcased two of the finest parkland courses in Northern Ireland, Galgorm & Massereene.

It was a successful result also for Irishman Brendan Lawlor, after he claimed a second victory in back-to-back weeks at the ISPS HANDA World Disability invitational. Lawlor aims to inspire a new generation of golfers with disabilities and this win sees him set to move to the top of the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability.
