Elm Park defeated a strong Limerick team the Girls’ U19 Interclub Final played at West Waterford Golf Club. Limerick found themselves in an uphill battle when Hannah Glesson gave the Dublin side an early lead by disposing of a luckless Emma Guinan after 10 holes in the third match. Temple Golf Club, Co. Down are the proud winners of The Australian Spoons 18 Hole Stableford Greensomes District Final (Ulster).
Thirty three clubs participated the Ulster Final, conditions were good early in the day but later play was suspended for a while due to thunder and lightning. However, all thirty three pairs completed their rounds. Well done to all competitors.

The Daisy Ferguson Trophy Final 2013 was played at R.C.D. Ladies Golf Club on Monday 12th August on The Annesley Links. 46 clubs competed in windy conditions.
Winners of the 2013 Daisy Ferguson Trophy were Myra Logan and Eileen Patterson from Helen’s Bay Golf Club with 42 points. Runners-up were Susan Anderson and Wendy Marshall from Omagh Golf Club with 42 points beaten on countback. In third place from Rockmount Golf Club were Moyra Evans and Alwyn Higham with 41 points

American Stacy Lewis closed with a pair of birdies on The Old Course at St Andrews and earned her second major championship at the Ricoh Women’s British Open.
Under sunny skies, the World No.2 fired a final round of 72 to set the target at 208, eight-under-par.
