After an exciting afternoon of golf in glorious sunshine Laytown & Bettystown and Mannan Castle were victorious over their opponents Borris and Co. Sligo.

On a beautiful calm Autumn morning the Miele All Ireland Semi Finals teed off at Lucan golf club.  The course was in immaculate condition  thanks to the work the course staff have put in to get it in tip top condition for the big event.

Míele All-Ireland Ladies Fourball Championship 2013 reaches National Semis/Final stage

On Saturday, 5th and Sunday, 6th October, the finals of the 2013 ‘Míele All-Ireland Ladies Fourball Championship’ got underway at Lucan Golf Club when forty four lady golfers teed off with high hopes of claiming a national green pennant for their Golf Club.  Miele Ireland.This year’s tournament which teed off in April, saw close to 234 clubs involved and over two thousand two hundred lady golfers from across the North, East, South and West taking part. Southern Region  winners Borris faced Eastern region champions Laytown/Bettystown, while County Sligo winners from the Western region went head to head with Mannan Castle from the Northern region.
